Taradale Pottery Club is a group of keen potters who work out of the Waiohiki Creative Arts Village. Our workshop is fully equipped - come and have a look!

The group continues to grow and develop welcoming new and experienced potters. We have electric, gas and a raku kiln for use by its members.

Taradale Pottery Group run classes in the evenings and Saturday mornings. We encourage anyone to come and take part, beginners are welcome. Phone/Text Karen 021 2279860.

There is also a weekly 'Club Day' on Tuesday mornings from 10am onwards as well as Tuesday evenings from 6pm. This is very popular, running for over twenty years now. All are welcome, come and check out our club and meet some of our members.

Currently the annual membership is $75, plus a $2 koha for visits to the club workshop. Kiln and glaze charges also apply. Members supply their own clay although there is clay available for purchase.

Ceramics Association of New Zealand

Registered as an incorporated society in 1965 by an enthusiastic group of potters in Wellington, New Zealand, Ceramics NZ has grown to become a significant international voice in New Zealand ceramics. The affiliation of about three dozen independent pottery clubs throughout New Zealand together with a number of corporate businesses greatly increases its effective membership. We are a national, not-for-profit organisation representing the interests of practising potters and ceramicists, students of ceramics and all those interested in New Zealand ceramics. We actively support and promote quality, and we encourage and support specialist ceramics education nationally.
